cabbage soup.

Not a very summery name, eh? But it’s pretty good. And purple! I bought purple cabbage, of course.

This made tons, tastes good, and is filling. I plan to eat it until I’m all out. Let’s see how that goes!

Cabbage Soup


2-3 large onions, chopped
1 head of cabbage, chopped
1 green pepper, chopped
2 large cans diced tomatoes
2 packages Lipton Beefy Onion Soup mix


1. Put the chopped vegetables in a pot and pour in tomatoes.
2. Put 4-6 cups water to barely covered the vegetables.
3. Cook for about 10 minutes and then add the Beefy Onion Soup mix and cook until all vegetables are tender.
