Easter weekend, my brother had his first son — William Benjamin Lavender. He’s precious and perfect and all those things and I’d say that even if I weren’t his Aunt Kristin. I’m so excited — both because, well, baby! and also because I couldn’t be happier for my brother and sister in law and to see my parents cooing over an infant. It’s a blessed thing, isn’t it?

It took a little while for me to make it up to Greer to meet Ben between bridesmaid duties, Easter, and two big back-to-back work events. But I was so excited when I finally made the trip up north to see his sweet face!

I just want to hold him all the time … and then give him back when he cries. Being an aunt is awesome like that.
