Clemson kicked off Saturday at noon so I kicked off the weekend at the Brown Street Club on Friday night with my brother, sister-in-law, and our friend Kathryn. We had such a wonderful time and a wonderful meal to boot. Along with a couple of glasses of cab I had a delicious salad.

Filet of salmon, marinated with bourbon and grilled, served over a bed of mixed greens with candied pecans and fresh berry vinaigrette
We finished up with a couple of beers at 21 East before calling it a night for an early morning.
It was (as always) a beautiful day in Clemson and perfect weather for a win against Virginia Tech and an opportunity to recognize our military. Daniel Rodriguez led the tigers down the hill carrying the flag and my dear friend Trey got to stand on the field during halftime while the Clemson and Virginia Tech bands “joined forces” to play Lee Greenwood’s God Bless the USA.
The tigers pulled off another W to make us 6-1!
And I learned how to use the panoramic photo function on my phone to capture the view from our seats.
