work inspired.

I’ve been making a major effort lately to clean out my closet. Slowly, but surely. A lot of it includes wearing things I’ve either never worn before or haven’t worn in quite a while and deciding at 5 pm that they’re not going back in my closet.  Anything too big, not 100% flattering, or that I just plain don’t love — I really shouldn’t be keeping. This week I’ve really been thinking about starting an eBay account or making a trip down to Revente to sell some items that I can’t imagine donating.

Shopping my closet can be fun. (And can lead to disaster — hence some things never making their way back in there.) I’ve been looking to be inspired to give some new life to certain pieces. It makes me excited about getting dressed every day.

  1. I’ve been doing the same thing: getting rid of clothes that don’t make me feel wonderful. I still have a long ways to go. But it’s a highly rewarding project that leaves me with only the things I love. It makes getting dressed in the morning that much easier.
